About the Opportunity

Join Career Central as the Head of HR and play a pivotal role in shaping talent strategies for high-growth businesses. This full-time, hybrid role based at our HQ in Chennai offers a unique opportunity to work closely with CXOs, founders, and leadership teams to drive organizational scale and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams to define and execute talent strategies aligned with business scaling.
  • Lead end-to-end CXO and senior leadership hiring, including role definition, sourcing, assessment, and onboarding.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of leadership talent across key sectors and functions.
  • Advise on organizational design, leadership structuring, and succession planning.
  • Develop compensation frameworks, leadership benchmarks, and people practices suited for scaling organizations.
  • Manage relationships with executive search firms and external talent partners.
  • Create and scale internal talent acquisition capabilities to support multiple hiring mandates.
  • Establish HR processes, performance frameworks, and people systems for internal and client-facing environments.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in HR leadership, talent strategy, or executive search.
  • Proven track record in CXO hiring within startups, high-growth, or mid-sized organizations.
  • Experience building teams in scaling environments.
  • Ability to operate as a trusted advisor to CXOs, founders, and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience building or scaling talent acquisition functions or HR systems from scratch.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • High adaptability and comfort working across multiple mandates in fast-paced environments.
