About the Opportunity Career Central is seeking a skilled SQL Developer to provide MIS support for Mortgage Servicing Control teams and collaborate with various business partners. This full-time, office-based role at our Chennai HQ offers an exciting chance to apply your expertise in data management and analytics to support critical control executions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and attend meetings with business partners and MIS teams to define requirements and identify source data points.
• Translate test requirements into technical specifications and implement them in SAS/SQL logic to extract populations and statistically valid samples.
• Write new or update existing SAS/SQL codes to extract and profile data.
• Prepare program logic documentation and submit changes for management approval.
• Respond promptly to Internal Audit inquiries.
• Conduct testing and analyze results to ensure data extraction meets desired outcomes; implement necessary changes.
• Assist in uploading final reports to QA systems to facilitate testing.
• Write basic Unix Shell scripts as needed.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in data management and analytics.
• Experience in roles such as Operations Research Analyst, Analytics Manager, or Strategic Business Analyst supporting financial services.
• Proficient in analyzing large datasets and applying quantitative analysis techniques including data mining.
• Familiarity with Operational Data Store (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and Big Data Hadoop architectures.
• Experience with backend database systems like Origination Empower, ODS Oracle, EDW Teradata, and EAP.
• Proficient in writing SAS and SQL programs for data extraction, transformation, and profiling.
• Ability to develop analytical reports using SAS.
• Knowledge of Python coding for complex or repetitive tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Project management experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
